we wove our way thru the canopy of trees and the sea of people
and skipped past the kiddie ride-sniff sniff-
past Prexy's pond-
straight to the blow up games galore for this kid-
and this kid-
while mom and dad feasted on free corn at the annual cobber corn feed.
YUM
Blow Up Castles, etc. kick my butt! I would be running the other way. Maybe towards the corn. LOL
ReplyDeleteLooks like loads of fun! I can just taste that corn on the cob with butter melting on it too. I second that Yum! :0)
ReplyDeleteQuintessential American hometown fun!!!
ReplyDeleteOh, I think I've only had one or two ears of sweet corn this summer... I LOVE sweet corn. The stuff in the can just doesn't cut it. :)
ReplyDeleteWhat is Brett Farve doing at the Annual Cobber Corn Feed?
ReplyDeleteI just saw him in your front yard not too long ago.
He's supposed to be in camp.
Great photos. Love the one of the pond.
Oh what fun....the boys look like they are having fun. I'm sure the food is delicious as well.
ReplyDeleteHi Vicky

ReplyDeleteFun photos!
ReplyDeleteOne of my favorite things about late summer is fresh corn on the cob. We plant quite a bit. Last week we put up almost 50 quarts in the freezer. That corn sure tastes good in the middle of winter.
That corn looks very good! I'm glad that your boys had fun. My guys would have loved it :) Terrific pictures.
