where I've been?
If I told you I'd been wrapped in a blanket, freezing my rear off, on a sunny 78 degree day? Would you think I was crazy? Cause I felt a bit silly, with my coat and blanket on while my bare toes peeked through in the frigid air. And when I forgot to take my warm coat ensemble off later, I got a few stares at the store.
It's okay, its all good...
Nolan played in the 2010 North American Pepsi-Cup Hockey Tournament with 15 other Moorhead boys all born in the year 2000. They won their last game to finish the tournament in third. See, I'm only a tiny bit crazy after all.
YAY!!!!!! I bet it is kinda odd sitting with blankets and winter coats when it's almost 80 degrees outside :) The things we do for our kids!
ReplyDeleteHope you're doing okay. You've been on my mind lately!
What a devoted Mom you are!! Congrats to Nolan!
ReplyDeleteTo one of the best hockey Moms ever:
ReplyDeleteGo girl! Keep that rear end warm at the ice rink...

Great job and is Congrats go out to Nolan's team! And to you Vicky for sitting in the cold and being such a great Mom! I'm sure your boys appreciate it so much (although they might not always tell you). :0)
ReplyDeleteCongratulations to your son!
ReplyDeleteAnd, is it OK to admit that I was sorta happy when my son decided he didn't like hockey, because... I HATED FREEZING IN THE STANDS!!!
Oh, CONGRATULATIONS TO NOLAN!!!! That's absolutely fabulous!!!! And NO! I don't think your are crazy...the very BEST moms do anything for love...and you are the very best of very best!! Love these photos...simply terrific action shots!!! Love you!!! Janine XO
ReplyDeleteWhen you live in Minnesota it's best to be prepared! :-)
ReplyDeleteYey! Now that was a trip home to celebrate!
ReplyDeleteHockey is such a cool sport. No pun intended. Good for you!
ReplyDeleteCongrats to Nolan.
ReplyDeleteI totally understand about ruging up when its warm outside. My office is like a freezer so in summer I always were jackets then forget to take them off when I go home even when it 90 degrees +
I hope you dad is settling into the changes a little easier now.
CONGRATS NOLAN!! So excited for all of you.
ReplyDeleteThe heartiest of congratulations to Nolan :) You take care of yourself :)
