Don't you just LOVE taking photos!...and you do a marvelous job! Your photos tell a story...one by one...and I love the smiles on the boys....and their tresures! Great job, my friend. Love, Jackie
Nothing like brining a little of the outside...inside....I can hardly wait for the first photos of the "the frog got out..."(laughing). Christopher is fascinated with frogs also -- he is constantly wanting to show me his finds -- although I am not showing him your photos --- my frogs are staying outside!! (or so I hope...). I bet you won't have any spiders in your house....hmmmmm...I like the new blog header. Very cool.
Stephanie, I'm not gonna lie, they aren't my favorite either :) All for the love of boys...
Libby, so true, I am surprised they didn't find sticks as well!
Thanks Dr. John, its good to see you around here again!
Bonnie, I want for all of you teachers to have as much vacation as possible, but YES its time for SCHOOL :)
Liss, I can think of some other things I'd rather be doing, but for now, yes, frogs it is :)
Robin, I am torn. Love a sunny day, but a sunny day with kids in school might be just the ticket these days!
Jackie, I really do love taking photos, and making everything an excuse to shoot :)
Thanks Bonnie :)
Oh Kristi, the frogs didn't last till morning in the house :) They wedged their little bodies down in the sides and I ran it outside and tipped it over leaving the door open... they are rumored to still be in our yard... but they are free to hop!
ROFLMREARENDOFF! I just didn't expect the upshot! "Blech" I was all ready to go with you to some deep and meaningful place about boyhood and meaningfulness about the meaning of boyhoodness! Thanks for the GREAT laugh. :)
Hey Vicky! I really liked the new look of your blog :D Your shots make your son look like a model :D All of you here are SO very good at photography!
ReplyDeleteHello Vicky
ReplyDeletethese are great shots, I particularly love the third one
Happy days
Ahhh it makes me miss being a kid. The complete joy in catching a gross frog. *Sigh*
ReplyDeleteHi Stillness, you're too kind :) Thank you.
ReplyDeleteThanks Delwyn, it was a happy accident and I love it too :)
Bonnie, I know... I couldn't deny him the experience in doing it, grossness and all :)
Great pics!!!
ReplyDeleteI don't know why but frogs scare me! Maybe because I know they could hop on me at any given moment...I don't like creatures like that!
Boys, Ponds, Frogs...the only thing missing is STICKS.
ReplyDeleteGreat picture story.
ReplyDeleteVicky I feel your pain (in reference to your comment on my blog). Ryan is headed up the same ally these days. It's time for school i guess!
ReplyDeleteLucky yo don't have girls they'd either be shrieking or trying to kiss this little froggy.
ReplyDeleteLooks like a great way to spend the last few days of summer.
