How can I?

I've poured out all the words I can muster into my presentation for next Thursday.  I'm just trying to polish it up and keep it flowing through my head.

Tuesday is my MRI.

And Wednesday?  A surprise is coming… and you won't want to miss… oh my stars… just wait till you see…

In the meantimes it's Moorhead's Homecoming parade and game tonight, and then we dash off to the cities for some hockey.

So I thought I'd start preparing for next week early.

How can I pray for you?

Tuesday,  I go in for sedation, and then have my MRI test.  Please feel free to leave a comment or send me an email- address is in my profile.

Shifting my focus off of me, and onto others is such a great reminder its not about me- um because its not.

Have a wonderful weekend!

  4. I thought the end of your title was the song, "How can I Keep From Singing?" - one of my favorites, as are YOU!

    I'll be with you Tuesday.

  7. Loved this post...the fall colors...but you..you radiate...are you sure you are the one with cancer....???! there is no telling in this picture ( for that matter many of your pic's) they say trule beauty shines inside out...i think with health it is the same....true health is inside out...cancer may be the illness...but there is no illness were it counts...your heart, your soul, your mind...it shows..and it shows also in what you said at the end... Have a most blessed weekend! love and prayers...............

  8. Honestly, Vicky I say the same thing about you. You look so well, always. I don't know if that's weird to say here, but I thought you should know anyway. I'll say a prayer for your good MRI results, and I'll ask a prayer of you for my mother, who is a breast cancer survivor and now undergoing surgery on her face to remove skin cancer. Thank you dear friend.

    1. Oh gosh Karen- adding your mom to my list- There is tie I understand between Skin and breast cancer so I will be cautious about that too. Praying it all goes well!

  10. You look lovely!!

So you have alot going on between now and Thursday - maybe it will keep your mind so full that there's no time for worry.

I have a dear friend who just called me yesterday and her husband left their family this past weekend. I am heartbroken for her, and she could use all the prayers she can get.

  12. Hi my dear friend,
Oh how I love your photographs... the walls covered with ivy, a few red leaves holding residence, a harbinger of fall. And then the third picture...YOU...with a red top and sun streaming all around you and on you and almost through you! Breathtaking! Your spirit beaming. It makes me happy just to see you standing there looking so beautiful.

And I know you have poured the words out for your talk and I have absolute confidence that they came from Him, the One who knows what all of those dear people need to hear.
And it will be such a blessing to each of them, just as your words are to us.

A Prayer Request: Could I ask you to pray for my daughter (age 35) who was in a horrible car accident some time ago. A car hit her as she was running along the road.
She, a Momma of three, has horrible, very painful nerve damage in her neck. There is a procedure she has every six months that brings relief, but the insurance release is hung up somewhere at Group Health. So much pain. Prayers for their quick "okay" would be so appreciated. I'm sure you know the drill of wait and wait and what will they pay for? We are so grateful she wasn't killed in that accident.

You are in my thoughts and prayers for Tuesday's MRI, dear friend, always my prayers.
Love you to the moon and back!
