LOVE IT! [and I know have that song stuck in my brain...]
ReplyDeleteKota girl is so dang cute! And I love the bokeh in those bud photos... I wish I could put such large pics on my blog, but mine wouldn't be as perfectly clear as those!
So fun to see the green grass and buds and lazy dogs soaking up the sun... not to mention a future rock star in the making. It's a good life you've got there, friend.
This was a fun post - you should do this more often!
ReplyDeletePS - Gitz' is being a smarty pants using a word like bokeh. I would have been upset, if I hadn't known what it meant;-)
Beautiful shots! Of course my favorite is Kota playing peek-a-boo!
ReplyDeleteSpring has sprung hasn't it??? :)
Gitz, it IS a good life, isn't it? So glad that came through. PW's bokeh photos are so beautiful and I am working on learning... slowly, slowly. I got the file size a little too large and then couldn't reduce them very well, but I enjoy experimenting. Have you tried to do larger images? I'd love to see a huge Riley-pup pic on their someday!
ReplyDeleteLibby, why yes she is a smartypants, isn't she!! Just one of the many reasons I love her :) So good to have you back and hope to hear all about that new baby soon!
Robin, Spring is here I do believe :) Both Kota and I will be out in the backyard as much as possible before the bugs and heat come in all their glory!
ReplyDeleteI LOVE the dirt removal pic. The puppy is almost eatable it is so cute!
ReplyDeleteBrilliant minds think alike ;)
Awesome shots! What a fun Sunday!
ReplyDeleteJules, I just can't let a sunny day pass me by :)
ReplyDeleteTippa, thanks:) Happy to see you here!
Great pictures.
ReplyDeleteI guess the flood danger is over.
These are awesome pictures! What kind of camera do you use? WoW!
ReplyDeleteDr. John, the flood is mostly behind us now :) Its a flurry of activity again to get it all cleaned up now!
ReplyDeleteMissy, thanks, it was such a perfect weather day. My husband and his dad are both photographers, so I am "borrowing" a Nikon D-100 and having fun learning.
Awesome dog shots. Makes me want to cuddle her!!
ReplyDeleteVicky! I'm taking the shotgun approach this morning and just HAVE to stop in!
ReplyDeleteLOVE your old dog and all the photos but have to say that tiny truck on top of the dirt sorta sums up so much of what you've been through and how huge it was.
And it probably felt as likely of being overcome as that little toy truck seems at removing the dike...but God answered the prayers and honored the work! I think that should be a magazine cover for your area. Missing everyone. :(
came back to tell you to come over to my blog and answer the question I am... you could even enter the new giveaway - bring your friends with you
ReplyDeleteJientje, thank you, I take great inspiration from your work :)
ReplyDeleteRobynn, you are supposed to be resting!! Not that I don't love your comments always :)
The boys know they are not supposed to climb the dikes, but obviously someone was a little sneaky! And yes, its a BIG job taking all of this down, but SMALL in comparison to how much we went through altogether.
Lovely pics, especially Kota :-)
ReplyDeleteThank you Eliza :)
ReplyDeleteWOW! What beautiful shots.:)
ReplyDeleteDakota is in 7th Heaven.
Spring is in the air The hockey sticks are strumming music. The birds are nesting what more could you ask for?
Every day is a new day and brings its own blessings :)
